"Canvas of Love" Charity Exhibition @ Fine Art Asia 2025

This year at Fine Art Asia 2025, Art Mentor Education Foundation is collaborating with local artist Queenie Chan and UK-based artist Garry Floyd for a joint charity exhibition, with the theme “Canvas of Love”. Through the power of culture and arts, every visitor will be reminded of the joy and motivation that life brings us and how we build a harmonious community. This fundraising project aims to provide warmth to underprivileged groups in Hong Kong, to facilitate transformative experiences for them and to spread the spirit of love.

The first part of the exhibition features Queenie Chan’s works from her series “Still Alive”. Queenie is a multifaceted Hong Kong artist, medical aesthetic consultant, author, and social entrepreneur. Combining traditional Chinese painting aesthetics with sustainable innovation, Queenie transforms expired foundations, powders, and pigments into ethereal ink wash landscapes, exploring cultural heritage through ecological rebirth. During the exhibition, Queenie will also host “Upcycle Expired Makeup Workshop: Flash Magic!” where participants can learn to use expired cosmetics as materials for art creation, embodying her philosophy of spreading love through beauty.

The other part of the exhibition, “Charity for Art” features works by Garry Floyd, primarily consisting of limited edition art prints. Gary is known for creating a series of lovable characters called “Luvimals”. He skillfully combines illustration with emotional storytelling and this exhibition will showcase a selection of his limited edition works, presenting his unique and warm artistic style. These pieces are perfect for collectors, conveying goodwill, connection, and imagination through the power of art.
