On the graduation performance day of "The Strings of Love 2", students showed their teachers and families what they had learned over the past six months. They played several traditional practice pieces and original songs. We also gave certificates to each student and volunteer instructor to recognize their hard work. We had a gift drawing, drinks, and desserts to celebrate this special day together!
"The Strings of Love 2" is the longest-running program we have organized with SoCO. We want to keep expanding this project into a permanent class, helping students from low-income families buy instruments and providing free violin training. This will give more children a chance to experience string performances and enjoy music.
By learning the violin, they can build their confidence, improve teamwork, and develop an interest in the arts and music. We hope to change the idea that music education is only for wealthy families. Every child should have the opportunity to learn and perform.
