"Canvas of Love" Charity Exhibition @ Fine Art Asia 2025

This year, Art Mentor Education Foundation (AMEF) collaborated with local artist Queenie Chan and UK-based artists Caroline Shotton, Garry Floyd, and Peter Smith for a joint charity exhibition themed “Canvas of Love” at Fine Art Asia 2025.

Every visitor could feel the joy and warmth of life through the power of arts, thus building a harmonious community. The donation earned from this charity arts exhibition will help AMEF to support more underprivileged families in Hong Kong, provide more arts education opportunities for them, and spread the spirit of love.

The exhibition was divided into two parts. One featured Queenie Chan’s works from her artwork series “Still Alive”. Queenie is a Hong Kong multifaceted artist, medical aesthetic consultant, author, and social entrepreneur. Combining traditional Chinese painting with sustainable innovation, Queenie transforms expired skin foundations, powders, and pigments into ethereal ink wash landscapes, exploring Oriental Aesthetics through recycling expired makeup products. During the exhibition, Queenie hosted “Upcycle Expired Makeup Workshop: Flash Magic!”, where participants could learn to use expired cosmetic products as painting materials for recreation, embodying her philosophy of spreading love through beauty.

The other part of the exhibition, “Charity for Art” featured works by Caroline Shotton, Garry Floyd, and Peter Smith.

Floyd brought a selection of limited-edition works from his beloved “Luvimals” series, where his unique and heartwarming artistic style gently seeps into people’s souls; Smith used surreal and imaginative art to capture the magic of love and life through captivating imagery of hearts and iconic shapes, inviting people to experience connection and affection from a new perspective; Shotton presented her cow-themed paintings to encourage people to find joy in everyday moments and feel the warmth of living.
