Art Mentor Education Foundation had the honor to partner with Yau Tsim Mong District Office this year, to present "Yau Tsim Mong Happy Hour Cabaret". We will host two consecutive nights of "Yau Tsim Mong Happy Hour Cabaret". Admission is free, and reservations are welcome.
On this evening, regular customers of the Happy Hour Cabaret gathered together. The cabaret host, Sheung Foon, who now suffers from dementia, is brought back to the cabaret by her daughter, Siu Wah. She invited a storyteller to share community tales about the cabaret, Kowloon Wholesale Fruit Market, and the Typhoon Shelter of the past.
