Strings Music Education Program

AMEF continues to uphold the concept of art education and whole-person development that we value, and hopes that more children from low-income families will have the opportunity to learn string music and form a string orchestra. The program will last for one year and is divided into three parts:
1.Provide opportunities and support young composers to create string music.
2.Provides education so that children from low-income families have the opportunity to learn stringed instruments and play the music composed by young composers.

3.Stage and performance opportunities are provided.

The purpose of this program has 3 key points:

  • Develop kid’s new skills and their potential.
  • Provide a platform for young composers to share their musical creations
  • Provides opportunities for outings, community engagement, networking with artists and cross-cultural collaborations.

The Western classical music tradition has flourished since the Middle Ages, and has continuously spawned a variety of different musical forms, styles and genres. Today, classical music is arguably the most influential musical culture in the world, and almost everyone learns or appreciates it to some extent. We hope that children can expand their artistic and literary potential, broaden their horizons, and develop opportunities through the string orchestra.
