"Where Art Resides" Charity Exhibition @ Fine Art Asia 2024

Art Mentor Education Foundation is joining hands with local artists Amy Wu and Mandy Ma for a joint charity exhibition “Where Art Resides” at Fine Art Asia 2024. The exhibition will showcase artwork by the two female artists inspired by life.

Amy Wu, a renowned performer and a professional counsellor, will showcase 15 pieces of painting on the theme of “Look • The Interpretation of Life.” This series of artwork is her expression of her observation in drama and reading of her counselees. Through these vibrant and captivating pictures, Wu reflects a healing process in the balance of the ever-changing life and the peacefulness of the mind.

Amy Wu Counselling Service provides these paintings to demonstrate the reading of life through counselling and to provide opportunities to benefit all in society.

Mandy Ma is always interested in creating space and experience to explore the fluidity of her work with people. By collecting, dismantling and reconstructing found objects, her works attempt to transform the relationship between objects and people and strengthen interpersonal connections. She featured installation, “Bubble Reveries” is created using the weaving technique of dreamcatchers, first filling in each hollow circle to establish independent web-like structures. They strive to absorb every ray of light in their fragile forms, glowing faintly.

During the exhibition, Mandy Ma will host weaving workshops for participants to craft dreamcatchers together, capturing beautiful moments. We welcome the public to visit and experience healing through art.
