The workshop aims to introduce children to the basic concepts of Bauhaus and its influence on modern architecture and design, such as functionality, simplicity, and the integration of art and technology in design.
Through hands-on model-making and personal creativity, children's works will reflect their understanding of architecture and practice, motivating children to observe, appreciate, and interact with different built environments in the community.
Our tutor, Cecilia, encouraged the children to think outside the box and express their creativity by participating in imaginative games. In addition to the basic construction skills they learned, they used cardboard and other materials to make models and implement their ideas. It helps the children understand how space, shape, and color interact in design, allowing them to express their ideas and continue to explore the world of design and architecture.
